My name is Don, founder of Travel with Don—a bespoke travel experience designed for those who seek comfort, authenticity, and a truly personal connection with Sri Lanka.
With a professional background as a Travel Coordinator, Inbound Tour Operations Manager, and Wellness Hotel Manager, I have spent years understanding what makes a journey exceptional. Through this experience, I learned that true quality is not defined by category—but by attention to detail, honest guidance, and the ability to match the right experience to the right traveler.
The Rekawa Story
In 2016, together with my wife , I co-managed our own hotel near the unspoiled Rekawa Wild Beach Located on the southern coast, Rekawa is not a crowded tourist beach. It is quiet, natural, and peaceful. What makes it truly unique is that it is one of the most important sea turtle nesting areas in Sri Lanka.. It was there that I began personally hosting guests, arranging their transfers, and designing journeys tailored to their individual expectations.
In March 2018, I founded Travel with Don with one clear vision:
to offer a fully personalized, trustworthy, and seamless way to explore Sri Lanka.
